Terms

Last updated October 20, 2026. These terms are between you and Trelmir, Inc., which runs Steelmemo.

What Steelmemo is

You describe a problem or a decision and attach your files. AI models from four labs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and xAI) work through it, check each other, and write a memo.

It's written by AI, and it can be wrong

A memo is a second opinion, not a guarantee. Check anything important before you act on it, especially before you change a live system, spend money or sign anything. What you do with a memo is your call.

What it won't take on

Steelmemo declines questions about personal investment, retirement or tax; legal advice on a specific matter; decisions about a specific candidate or employee; medical questions; and decisions about someone's credit, insurance or housing. Nothing in a memo is legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

Your content

Your questions, files and memos are yours. You let us process them to write your memo, which includes sending them to the four labs (see Privacy). Only attach what you have the right to share.

Fair use

Credits and payment

A question uses one credit. If the council can't finish a question, the credit is returned automatically. Your first push-back on a memo is free; after that, a push-back uses one credit. Stripe handles payment, and it shows as STEELMEMO on your statement. Unused credits are lost if you delete your data.

Stopping

You can delete your data and stop at any time from your Account page. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

No warranty, limited liability

Steelmemo is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, Trelmir, Inc. isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters to you, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
